Three-quarters of an eyebrow
…disappeared?
Tonight… Travis took longer than normal in the shower. Was he scrubbing himself extra clean, brushing his pearly-whites for the full three minutes, or shearing off his right eyebrow? I would gladly have swapped (D)-none of the above, with the correct answer (C)… then tomorrow I would be sending a stinky boy to school instead of one with a partial brow.
How the culprit was discovered… Repairing the damage… Help me solve one last mystery…
Will it grow back before school pictures next month? Send me a comment- I want to know what you think: Yes, Maybe, or Not A Chance.
Strange pool in Last Chance Bay
Lake Powell’s magnificent sandstone formations jut gallantly from the water, stark and striking. They are in perpetual standoff with the green water lapping gracefully against the shoreline, and the crimson-red and bright-blue sky above. I cannot help but employ an abundance of adjectives to describe so lovely a setting. This awe-inspiring haven encompasses so many of my most cherished memories. There is no better place on earth to relax and have fun. Lake Powell has a way of rejuvenating both body and spirit. Eric and I found this image on Google Earth. From the main channel below it would have been impossible to spot. This strange pool in Last Chance Bay is now on my list of “unique places I hope to visit one day”.
Blissfully nostalgic feelings are aroused within when I imagine this place I love so much. Lake Powell embodies my childhood:
